This Week

13.6.25

This week on Monday it was just raining all day. So my friends decided to make games out of cups. The first game we did was we had cups and 2 ping pong balls and we had to bounce the balls into the cup. The first team to get the ball in the cup wins. The second game we played was we had to put a cup upside down and flip the cup onto the cup that was upside down. That’s all I did basically.

On Thursday we went to tech like Casual. I made pancakes with my buddy bentley. First our cooking teacher taught us the equipment we need and the ingredients. The thing I made was I grabbed a small bowl and a whisk. Next I cracked an egg into a small bowl. Then add 1 cup of sugar, put the egg and sugar together and whisk it all. While Bentley on the other side is getting 1 cup and a quarter of flour, into a big bowl and adding one quarter salt and half a half a teaspoon of sugar. After that you add some milk into the big bowl with all the ingredients also with the egg and sugar then mix it all together. After that just get a non-stick frying pan and put it on the stove. Turn it to high heat to warm it up after it’s warmed up, turn it back to half. Then add a cube of butter and tip the mixture into the pan and flip into golden brown.

On Tuesday I got to play dodge ball. All we had to do to get to dodge ball was, I think, our literacy work. Since our literacy group was good, Talei, my literacy teacher, I’m pretty sure she let all the people that wanted to go to dodge ball let them go. At dodge ball i was doing really good and getting a lot of people down.

End of week reflection

This week a new kid came to our school. His name is Waharoa. When I first met him my teacher Sharon asked me to see if I can show him around the school. I said yes. First we found a tote tray for him. Then he told me he knew anthem from his league team.

When we went to tech me and Waharoa went on the same bus and in the same room. My technology teacher Mrs Smith helped him on how to use a sowing machine, he was actually really good.

Also there was Swimming Sports on Friday. When it was my turn my style was breast stroke and when I finished I came 3rd place because I don’t want to go to zones. When it was time for Relays the team I wanted to win was Joel, Daisy, Zita and Kelsi. But unfortunately the teachers won.

End of week reflection

At Technology  I learnt how to use a sowing machine. Last week I got my learners license. Now this week I got my restricted licence.

I’m almost finished my fuggler I just need to sow it a little more. Then put the fluff inside. Then lastly fully sow the fuggler up.

At the end of technology. My friend Josh made Kebab’s. He told me he put half a bottle of sriracha in his rice. Sriracha is a spicy sauce. He gave me some and I really liked it.

Also the mouth of my fuggler keeps coming off so my technology teacher  Mrs Smith used red string to show up my fugglers mouth so it doesn’t come off.

Technology on Thursday

This week I went to Technology for the first time.

I did sewing class we had to create these dolls called fugglers they are doll’s that look very ugly.

I enjoyed the part when we had to pick our own accessories.

The hard part was was sewing the buttons to make eyes. First, you put the needle through the spot you want to put the eyes. Next, you put the button on the needle. Lastly, you pull the needle then put it in the other hole and do like 3 or 4 times.

The interesting part was you could make it into a key chain. I made it into a key chain to put it on my bag or my pencil case.

Week 1 reflection

One highlight of my week was moving into a new studio.

A tough moment I faced was meeting the teachers.

I surprised myself when there was a mahi-a-tahi.

I wish I had my own senior jacket.

Next week I hope to go swimming in the pool.

What I learned from this week is that in mahi-a-tahi you need to reach 3 points to go to dodgeball.

I feel proud of myself because I reached the last studio in our school.

I found it challenging to complete the tasks in mahi a tahi.
